Welcome back to Mrs. Whitney's "Lovin' Life Learning Center!"  Our first week in grades four and five was excellent!  We learned routines, got to know each other, and experienced some outrageously fun activities like firing potato guns, walking on water, and making beautiful T-shirts. Now we're ready to dive into our normal routine!

For those who have had students in my class before, please note that the Homework Reading Log has changed.  Making sure that your child reads each night is the MOST important way you can ensure that your child has a successful school year.  I need your cooperation in verifying that your child reads at least twenty minutes per day.  Please don't sign the Homework Reading Log unless they do.

Also, a fact homework sheet will be sent home every night with their usual math homework.  No calculators or multiplication tables should be used while doing these worksheets.  Learning the multiplication and division facts is crucial; please practice them as often as possible.

Parents, if we can work as a team this year, the benefits to your children will be significantly greater! Go,Team, Go!
